On March 1st, a pivotal moment occurred in the construction of Spirit of Tasmania IV, at Rauma Marine Constructions. For the first time, the ship’s engine was started, marking a crucial phase in its construction. This event signifies the beginning of comprehensive system testing aboard the vessel. Equipped with a total of four Wärtsilä dual-fuel main engines, which will be started one by one over the coming weeks.
